Strive to Rest: the sabbath and the shadow world
The fact that we live in “a shadow world” is easily lost sight of, and as a result we have to be reminded of this fact daily, or else we merely consciously dwell in the lower excelerations.
The fact of the matter is that we are distracted by the context of a twenty-four hour daily cycle in which we spend most of our waking hours, when the sun is up. But if we lived in the country far from the city and waited until sundown, we could look up into the our galaxy, the Milky Way, and we would be reminded that the physical universe is so much greater than the small environment and circle we travel within our daily routine during the daylight hours. Our consciousness is retricted by our routine and therefore we have a limited one dimensional world view.
While the physical universe is still the shadow world we must use it metphorically to help break out of our myopic mind circuits so we can think larger unto spirituality, or multi-dimensional consciousness.
So, we have to be reminded that we have mental circuits that are set, conditioned and reinforced by our daily routine and our perception of reality remains quite small. We are for the most part focused on the shadow world, and in this way we dwell in a spiritual prison.
But the shadow world while it exists in lower excelerations of matter is a real world, and for most people, the only world they understand and believe exits, but even though it is not the realm of the eternal it is still part of infinity. How can it be infinte, but not eternal?
While the stars appear to be inert they are actually streetching out from one another. We know this because science has been able to measure the movement of the stars, but before science the scriptures in the Old Testment, in many places state that “The Lord streetches forth the heavens (the universal constructions-ie. the stars). We also know that He will roll it up ( the universe) like a scroll.
So, there seems to be both a stretching forth Isa 51:13, and a rolling back Isa. 34: 4 expressed in the bible that is consistent with the scientific evidence. For those who denounce the bible because they are scientists, and for those relgious people who can’t run with the scientists, wadda ya know, here at least, they are in agreement.
So the physical matter that comprises the whole universe seems to ebb and flow like the tides of the ocean. It rolls out and rolls in. When we look at Genesis then we see a snap shot of this cycle, wherein is captured, a moment frozen in that cycle. ”
“The earth was without form,” as defined in Genesis, so what would become earth, was not a globe at that moment, because it was part of this gigantic mass of matter. Actually it wasn’t even gigantic, but was compacted into an incomprehsible density. Then their was a thunder (see Rev 10:3-4 ) , or as the scientist call a “big bang”, and that was what initiated the alpha phase star expansion. Eventually there will come a sound signal in the soundline, and the mass of matter expanding as stars will reverse and retreat back into it’s origination again as a mass of chaoritc matter ( when the elements melt with fervant heat ( 2Pet. 3:12 ), but as a massive compaction ready to repeat the cycle again, as a new heavens and a new earth. ( If you took the time to read Rev. 10:3-4, you would have noticed that there were 7 thunders or 7 preceeding universes (more on this later) before this present one. In that sense the universe is infinite.
Our conceptions of reality and existence must be reshaped and our catagories and definitions must be oiled and expanded if we are ever to come to grips with the true spiritual meaning of the Sabbath, because for the most part we are earth bound in our understanding.
God’s thoughts are circuitous while human thought is linear. We must learn to think circuitous.
There remains a sabbath rest of the Lord.
The Kingdom of heaven is within
